Many people who choose to live “out east” tend to do so for many reasons: privacy, more space, country lifestyle, just to name a few. There are however some really nice “neighborhoods” in the area as well. You can have the best of both worlds. Homes in these neighborhoods range from small homes on half acres lots to million dollar homes on 20+ acres. There truly is something for everyone. There does tend to be a Homeowners Association within each of these neighborhoods, however, the restrictions are not as strict as some other “traditional” neighborhoods.

Living out east is not for everyone. You do have to remember to pick up milk before heading home, or face driving back out to the store in town. When I first moved out east, I recall everyone telling me how much I would miss being close to town or how far I would be from everything. I found that just not to be true. We are less than 20 minutes to Lakewood Ranch and less than 45 minutes to downtown St. Pete. (it takes just as long to get to downtown Sarasota in season)

One of my favorite things about living out east is the sense of community. People look out for each other here. There are a handful of local Facebook pages that really helps bring our community together. If you or someone you know is considering a move to one of the beautiful areas out east, please give me a call today. I am here to help.

Here are just a few “neighborhoods” that you can find out east.

Anson Acres, Golden Verna, Magnolia Hill, Manatee River Park, Pomello Park, Saddlebag Creek, Sarasota Ranch Club, Panther Ridge, Waterbury, Waterbury Tracts, and Winding Creek.
